Sell vs. Pipedrive
A pipeline-first CRM small teams love, against a conversation-first workspace.
What Pipedrive is good at
Pipedrive is one of the clearest pipeline CRMs ever built, and small sales teams adopt it because the mental model is obvious on day one. If your problem is that nobody knows which deals are where, Pipedrive answers exactly that and does not make you buy a suite to get it.
How Sell is different
Pipedrive organises deals. Sell organises conversations and what comes out of them. A Pipedrive card tells you a deal is at 60%; a Sell record tells you what the client said, what you quoted, and what you still owe them.
When to choose Pipedrive instead
- Pipeline visibility is the actual problem, and calls are not where your work happens.
- Your team already thinks in stages and wants a board that matches.
- You want a large integration marketplace around a CRM core.
When to choose Sell
- Your deals live and die on calls, and the record of the call is the record of the deal.
- You want the proposal and invoice generated from the conversation rather than typed again.
- You want an AI that has read the calls, not one that summarises the fields you filled in.

| Records and summarises the meeting | yes | yes | The table stakes. Both do this; it is not where the decision is. |
